A vow to offer your dream venue.

At Matilda Bay we understand the significance and meaning a wedding holds.

As a culture, we invest much into a wedding: big white gown, flowers, a ceremony, an after party, friends, family, gifts. Then there’s the decision about the style of wedding: small, large, cocktail style, sit down. Is it going to be a religious wedding or a civil ceremony?

Understanding all this, we’re proud at Matilda Bay to offer you a number of venue solutions for your special day.

The Roe Room: our flagship and larger wedding venue. Situated on Level 1 with stunningly unique views of Matilda Bay, the Swan River, Kings Park and Perth City, the Roe Room is a flexible choice offering formal sit down events catering for up to 140 guests, or cocktail style events with a capacity of up to 250 guests.  The Roe Room is also unique in Perth as it has a dedicated kitchen. This means your guests receive the highest quality foot befitting of your occasion.

The Catalina Room: a smaller venue situated on the ground level with an adjoining patio alfresco allowing you and your guests to bask in the natural beauty of our adjacent park, trees and rivers’ edge while having an indoor more formal element too. The room has a strong sense of indoor/outdoor flow through our large bi-fold glass doors giving guests a calm sense of serenity. Catering for small groups, The Catalina Room has a capacity of up to 50 guests seated or up to 100 guests cocktail style.

Elly Waugh is our Matilda Bay Wedding co-ordinator. She’s tasked with helping you bring your most special day to life, working behind the scenes with her team to ensure your dreams are made a reality. Elly has a Diploma in Events Management and previously has worked with Elysium Functions who are a styling company. Elly will be your Questions Queen at Matilda Bay: she’ll assist you as you work your way across Food & Beverage options, provide options and clarity on which suppliers to use, and guide you pointing out important aspects to still be decided upon. She pretty much has everything covered.

Wedding Season: If there is a season for Weddings in Perth, it is October to April. October and November along with March and April are the season peaks. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible in the planning stages for you to be in the best position to secure your preferred function date.
