Hentley Farm WINE DINNER
Matilda Bay Restaurant is delighted to host Hentley Farm Wine Dinner on Saturday, 19th August at 7pm.
Hentley Farm Wines is set on the red-brown soils of the western Barossa, South Australia. The vineyard was established in 1990 by Keith and Alison Hentschke, the first wines coming to market in 2002. Hentley Farm is about quality and finesse in winemaking, which is reflected in each glass. Winemaker Andrew Quin was awarded Barons of the Barossa Winemaker of the year 2017.
In 2015 the James Halliday Wine Companion awarded Hentley Farm “Winery of the Year”. The wines are also about food with their restaurant being the connection between the vineyard, wines and farm. Hentley Farm won South Australian Restaurant of the Year 2017 (and 2015) plus Best Restaurant in a Winery 2017.
